Our Purpose
Youth sport shapes far more than athletes. It shapes confidence, character, relationships, communities and a young person's relationship with sport for life. Yet too often, the decisions that shape those experiences are made without truly understanding the people living them.
State of Youth Sports exists to change that.
We provide an independent platform for families and coaches to share structured, verified feedback about their youth sport experience. That feedback is measured across key areas including player development, coaching quality, communication, culture, family experience and organizational leadership—creating a clearer and more complete picture of how organizations are serving their members.
Through organizational experience data, research and quarterly reports, we help families better understand the environments they are choosing while giving organizations meaningful insight into what they are doing well and where opportunities for improvement exist. Our goal isn't to create another place for complaints or anonymous ratings. It's to replace assumptions, isolated opinions and word-of-mouth with credible information that can lead to better conversations, better decisions and meaningful improvement.
Because when we better understand the youth sports experience, we can build a better one.
